BASIC SOUTH
AFRICAN SIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING |
| |
|
| |
Due to the language
barrier that exists, Deaf people have limited access
to essential information and |
| |
services. This
inhibits their participation in their own
self-governance and in contributing to broader |
| |
society through a
culture of participation and service |
| |
|
| |
Training in basic
sign language, specific to sectors, aims to illicit
information from Deaf persons for referral |
| |
purposes and
facilitate improved communication between Deaf and
hearing persons |
| |
|
| |
For any further
information and costing regarding sign language
training, please contact the Association |
